Hi there folks,
It's 2014 now, and I have not opened this blog for over a year <(T~T)>
I know I promise to post blogs often, however reality hits me. I realized all of this happened because of myself and I was not motivating myself enough. So, for this 2014, I will try my best to post new blogs if I have my available time.
And now, I will go through my life from the middle of August 2013 until present time. So, sit tight and let's start..!<(^ v ^)>
August 2013 - November 2013
August 22nd, 2013 was my defence day, and Thank GOD I passed my thesis defence with grade A.
Then, my very first experience ever to work in real life. I applied for a job as a local English teacher beforehand, got accepted, and started working four days after my defence. At first, it was fine, but soon I realized I had to work on my thesis revision. In the end, I submitted my thesis pretty late, and Thank GOD again it was accepted by my university.
To tell you the truth, this first job I had was really tiring. I had to work in two different places in four days (it's very far to reach that one place I had to go there alone by public transportation, the other one, luckily, I had a driver to take me there). Coming back home, I got really tired and I often found myself woke up late and went to the office late too. Even though I did not have any classes, I still had to come to the office. On the bright side, I did not have come to work on weekends. In the end, I screwed up my first job because of myself. Conclusion..? I enjoyed working there, I loved that job, lots of fond memories and sad memories, but it really stressed me out, and plus.. the environment was not for me because most people there were older people, not much for youngster like myself.. <(=.=")>
Quick recap..! I finally graduated from my university..! <(>w<)> ♥ Graduation day on November 17th, 2013. Glad to know that I made it and made my family proud of me.
8 days after the graduation, I celebrated my birthday with my best bestie. We had a karaoke party then went to the mall for dinner and she bought me mini J-Pops <(>w<)> ♥. Later that night, we had a slumber party and we ended the day with lots of pictures taken.
December 2013
I got a phone call to be interviewed at this famous English education company. I went for the placement test and the interviews, and surprisingly, I got accepted right at that moment. I was told to come back there again the following week to sign the contract, and then I began my job with a whole week of class observations and trainings. Afterwards, I started teaching there, and it turned out that I kinda enjoyed myself working in there. Although there's a lot of work to be done, I learned it along the way, little by little, step by step, until I can do it. I had good classes to teach with some good students and some naughty students. Overall, I couldn't deny myself that I liked working there.
By almost at the end of 2013, on December 22nd, after two and a half years I have lived in Jakarta, I finally went back to my lovely hometown along with my brother. I was in my home sweet home for two weeks. I got to meet my lovely bunny again, and yes, she's grown big and I love her even more. I met with my old friends again, hung out and caught up with what's happened in our life so far. The best part about going back home..? I got to eat lots and lots of my mom's cooking, and I got to eat other stuffs too. I'll give you the highlights soon, so wait for it..! <(>v<)>
January 2014 - Present (beginning of March 2014)
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014..!
Well, new year, new me. That's what everyone would've said to themselves. Yes, I want to change myself too in this year. So far, the first change that I experience now is I have lost my weight *thanks to mom who keeps nagging me not to eat a lot and late XP*. Not sure how much I've lost my weight but the people I met said that I am slimmer and my belly is not as huge as it used to be. I notice about my weight loss too from the jeans that I've never worn since 3rd semester of university until now, it's my favorite jeans and finally fits me again..! XD. I'm totally happy about this. Keep up my good work..! \ <(>o<)> /
The next change that I experience so far is *not sure about this though <(>,<;)>* I become a little bit more knowledgeable when it comes to teaching. I think I learn new things by myself in the current place I'm working at. I manage to think about some new games that came up in my mind and apply it to my class. I can adapt myself with the classroom situations, try to approach each student and be friendly and get to know them better. I don't mean to brag , but I think I can see myself that I am successful teaching my students whatever lessons they learn. I can see it from their exercises and their results. I'm quite happy to know that I can do this job. I heard from the HRD manager too that the bosses *not sure who are they* said they like my teaching and working performance. I'm so relieved that I'm already in my fourth month and still continue working in the company.
Hmmm.. I think that's about it so far, folks. I'm still writing the story of my life and I know that my DADDY has plans for me in the future. Well, it's time for me to go back to my life and live it up to the fullest. Wait for my story to be written again, folks..!
